What reality means to me
To me, reality is anything I can see with my own eyes. If it is a fact it must be backed by substantial evidence or something that I can prove myself. Basically anything that is known to be true through certain experiences and knowledge.

My name is Kaylie Michelle Elizabeth Fehr (I think using all four names makes me sound more official). I was born in Summerville, South Carolina and have lived there my whole life. I went to Catholic school from kindergarten to senior year of high school. This made me all the more excited to start Clemson this year, finally no uniforms! I led a pretty uneventful life in Summerville and mostly stuck to normal stuff like hanging with friends and my favorite going to the beach. I was never blessed with coordination so sports for me never really stuck except swimming. I ended up being pretty good at it too, landing a four year spot on my high school's varsity team. I made pretty good grades throughout high school and was a member of NHS and was VP of Key Club. For two and a half years I worked at a seafood called Gilligan's. It was a pretty good job for high school, but I am hoping I don't have to be a waitress again over summer breaks. Finding out I got into Clemson's Nursing program was probably one of the happiest days ever, but the wait from February to August was unbearable and very eventful. I got home from my Clemson Orientation on the Saturday before Father's Day. I went into work that night while my parents and brother went into town for some errands. I soon stated getting many text messages from my family and neighbors telling me to call them as soon as I could. My house had been struck my lightning and caught on fire. When I pulled on to my street it was clouded with smoke and crowed with firetrucks and family member's cars. Our house's attic burnt completely and the rest has major water and smoke damage. It was horrible, but the rest of summer did get better. I was able to still go to Florida for my graduation present, where I swam with the dolphins. It was absolutely amazing! Other than that my summer was spent working, going to the beach, and planning reconstruction for the house. Being here at Clemson has changed my life dramatically for the better. I am having so much fun and experiencing so many new things. I can't wait for the rest of my college career.
